Northern Winds
By Kayleigh

This house
It shakes
This house
It quakes
This house
please don't break
This house
It moans
This house
It groans
as the Wind lashes out

I'm waiting for the Northern Winds
to go go home
I'm waiting for the Northern Winds
To leave leave leave
So that our Southern Sky
can breath breath breath
I'm wanting the Northern Air
To go go go
Just go go back home

This wind
It rises
This wind
it touches the sun
this wind
Its spinning
circulating
intimadating

I'm waiting for the northern winds
to go go home
I'm waiting for the southern sky
to shine on all below
I'm fearing for the one thing
that may touch down
down down

Oh Hey ey ey
Tornado please don't stop by
Hey ey ey
I just want to see a clear sunny sky
Hey ey ey
Oh Tornado please don't arrive
Hey ey ey
I very much would like to survive
Hey ey ey
Oh Twister please don't come around
Hey ey ey
Music is the only wanted sound
Hey ey ey
Oh Twister don't destroy our ground
Hey ey ey
Twister don't be in town
Twister don't come around....
It's been crazy windy for that past 2 days and we refer to our weather being "bipolar" since it always changes from sunny and warm to wet and cold and back sunny.

Started singing this while playing on the guitar yesterday as the wind battered the house. Tornado season is coming soon. Thankfully we don't get tornados often but it's not a rare occurence either.

I am fascinated by natural disasters especially Tornados. When I was little (around 6 years old) I wanted to be a Tornado Chaser (Like in the movie, "Twister") and though I know its risky I still kinda want to chase these monsters.

There Are 2 Tornado Seasons in a year

1 In the Spring: Around April, May and maybe even March or June

1 during the Fall: Around November or so maybe even earlier.

When I was 14 a tornado struck an area near my high school in November. My mom and I would have been caught in it if the Tornado came 10 minutes earlier. No warning, nothing. It was a clear sky and a pretty, light breeze day. No one suspected anything. But that's why it was a perfect time for a tornado to hit. The calm before the storm is a dead give away.

The Tornado Scale:

EF1 - Teeny tiney little thing but it can still cause damage just not a lot
EF2
EF3
EF4
EF5 - The big Daddy. Let's put it this way, look at pictures of the cities in Japan after the atomic bomb dropped on them. The atomic bomb at the time did the same amount of damage (to the land that it) that an EF5 Tornado can do.
